New Resource for Artists and Source for Buyers

artbreak_logo.gifI received an email a few days ago from the creator of a new website called
Art Break which is basically an online community where artists can sell their work and network with other artists. The layout of the site is quite basic but is easy to navigate and not at all cluttered unlike some of the other similar sites which makes the process of viewing the artworks available much easier and far more pleasant. The inclusion of a social networking feature and a forum is a great way of getting people excited about the art being sold as is the “Hot Right Now” section that “is a showcase of the best of the past week of Artbreak, as determined by the Artbreak hive mind. It shows works uploaded in the past 2 days, and combines views, likes, favorites and compliments to show you the art that’s most interesting to the community right now”

Overall the artbreak.com website is very user friendly ,well thought out and has some really great art for sale at affordable prices so go and check it out.

Alright, how much does this service cost? What percentage do they take as commission? You have some good information here, but what’s the bottom line?

Thanks for the kind words Nicholas.

someknowledge: It is free to sign up, free to share your art and list it for sale. If it sells, there is a 7.5% commission. Buyers purchase work directly from the artist. Please check it out!

Hey Zack, do you harvest emails because I just got an invite to Artbreak that was sent to an email address that I only have posted on one site. Which happens to be another art site. And I thought you said on the forums that Artbreak was ethical?
